Work Experience

I started really young and had the chance to join Zombi Studios. From that moment on, it’s been a non-stop learning experience. Over the years I’ve been involved in all kinds of creative projects — from running social media accounts and designing textile pieces, to producing videos, photography, animation, and even motion graphics. It gave me the chance to explore different creative fields, work with talented people, and sharpen my skills in a hands-on way.

I’ve also collaborated with several local brands, creating artwork and running traffic campaigns throughout these years.

Those experiences not only helped me grow as a professional but also pushed me to keep experimenting and sharing what I know with other creatives.

About Me

I am a self-taught graphic designer since 2012

I'm Jordy Cuesta — an illustrator and designer from Cuenca, Ecuador, obsessed with heavy music, dark visuals, cats, and video games. For over a decade, I’ve worked with underground bands, indie labels, and loud artists to create merch, lyric videos, and posters that hit hard and stand out. On top of that, I’ve also collaborated with companies, creative agencies, and brands that needed my skills — being a freelancer for years has allowed me to adapt to different industries while keeping my style raw and unique. Whether you need a premade design or a custom-built visual weapon, I bring raw energy, attention to detail, and a deep passion for all things brutal. If I’m not drawing skulls or animating chaos, I’m probably grinding through a game or chilling with my cats.

Over the years, I’ve been exploring and learning on my own as a self-taught creative. I’ve experimented with the Adobe Suite and the main tools I need to work as a designer. Even though I don’t have formal academic studies in design, I’ve trained myself through online resources and private courses that focus exactly on the skills I use today. It’s been a hands-on journey, learning what I actually need in real projects and putting it into practice right away.
